Job duties to include, but not limited to, telephone triage, RX refills, stress testing, patient education, coordination of back office flow, phlebotomy, ECGs, rooming patients. Must have working knowledge of, and be able to adhere to and support TJC regulations. Must be able to prioritize and work well both independently and as part of a team in a multidisciplinary setting. Will be required to schedule procedures and appointments as needed. Demonstrated experience of strong critical thinking skills.
Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge. The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. All performance expectations associated with this position are performed at the PRACTITIONER Level.

RN License issued by the State of California.
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Must have a minimum of two (2) years RN experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- Experience in an outpatient clinic.
- Phlebotomy and IV experience.
- Five (5) years of RN experience.
Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
