Provides direct care to critical care patients using the nursing process in the clinic setting. Develops and provides treatment plans as requested. Promotes self-care through education. Organizes and maintains clinic equipment and supplies. The 13-bed Medical Coronary Contained Unit specializes in Pre-Cardiac Transplants, Congestive Heart Failure, Acute MI, CRRT, neurological patients and complex ventilation using the latest equipment and technologies. The Charge and Code RNs are readily available to assist with complex patients. Our physician partners are true professors who are willing to invest the time and energy to provide education specific to treatment and research. The unit is actively involved in promoting community health.

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Must have an active California RN license.
BART or BLS/CPR certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
ART or ACLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
Minimum one (1) year of recent acute care RN experience in adult ICU.
Must be a team player and have good communication skills.
CCRN, CSC, and/or CMC certification(s).
Experience with cardiopulmonary, neuro and/or cardiac care.
Two (2) or more years of critical care RN experience.
- Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
