DESCRIPTION

Under the leadership of the Administrative Director of the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Treatment Center, the Clinic Manager is involved in the provision of integrated and accessible primary and specialty patient care services in the center environment. Care is provided by clinicians and assistants who are accountable for addressing a large majority of personal health care needs and developing a sustainable partnership with patients. Ensures optimal patient outcomes through effective leadership and/or provision of patient care delivery in healthcare clinics or centers. Promotes shared decision-making at all levels to ensure a shared voice in practices, exchange of ideas, enhanced communication, and continually improved patient services. Assists with the administration and management of personnel, fiscal, and material resources.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing, healthcare administration or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of California.

  • BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six months of hire date.

  • Five or more years of relevant experience.

  • Three or more years of supervisory or management experience.

  • Experience and proven success in skills to effectively supervise clinicians and to manage the complex workflow and multiple priorities involved with clinic operations.

  • Strong knowledge of practice operations.

  • Hemophilia expertise and experience preferred but not required.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.

  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
