The Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) is one of 28 federally funded Alzheimer's disease centers, continuously funded since 1984. In collaboration with a number of national and international groups, the ADRC conducts a wide variety of research dedicated to understanding the causes, clinical features, and treatments for Alzheimer's disease (AD). Our ultimate goal is to discover ways to prevent, treat, and ultimately eradicate the disease.

The ADRC follows approximately 450 seniors annually, including both those affected with AD and related disorders and age matched control subjects with no cognitive impairment. We also have a Hispanic research program which studies the incidence of disease, response to treatment, and bilingualism in this population. We have bilingual bicultural staff who can perform the evaluation in either English or Spanish. We offer a variety of Quality of Life programs to provide meaningful activity and support to persons with memory loss and their families.

With minimal supervision, the Data Systems Analyst will perform operational - level software application development, software quality assurance, and software maintenance and technical and user support.
