Under general supervision, the Payroll and Cashiering Generalist is responsible for a major departmental operation on a rotating basis. Areas of responsibility include: Payroll Operations: Responsible for daily operations leading and coordinating efforts to ensure receipt, analysis and accurate processing of personnel/payroll actions, adjustments and processing of the bi-weekly payroll.
Cashier Operations: Responsible for daily operations of the main cashier's office leading and coordinating efforts to ensure accurate receipt, control, analysis, accounting and processing of funds received. Banking Operations: Responsible for daily operations leading and coordinating efforts to ensure correct analysis, accounting and processing of various lock box operations, adjustments, bank statements and credit card control.
Quality and Cash control: Responsible for daily operations leading and coordinating efforts to perform audits, cash counts, sub-cashier set-up and support analysis and training for all Medical Center Sub-Cashier locations and system management. All provide various assignments in administration. Assigned responsibilities includes Thornton and Hillcrest hospitals.
Demonstrated experience in both payroll and banking/cashiering.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Proven ability to count cash, provide accurate change and problem-solve discrepancies in deposits and payroll transactions.
Ability to provide training to others.
Good communication skills on the telephone and in writing.
Skill at independently organizing work to meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with fluctuating priorities.
Must be able to work various hours & locations based on business needs.
Must successfully pass fingerprint check during probation period.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
