Under supervision of a Research Manager, the Human Brain Imaging Research Coordinator performs a variety of tasks to support Human Brain Imaging research. Performs data pre-processing and analysis for EEG and fMRI experiments. Provides all aspects of protocol management, including: recruiting of new research subjects, scheduling participants for data collection appointments, conducting orientation of new human subjects, collecting data, and ensuring proper control and accounting of Human Subjects cash. Independently conducts cognitive EEG and/or fMRI experiments using computers to digitize and record and analyze test data.
The incumbent ensures accuracy and completion of research files, performs data entry and ensures completeness and accuracy of data for several research studies. Attends weekly research meetings. Manages EEG and fMRI experiment database, runs and adapts data processing scripts, and conducts testing and ensures the proper functioning of laboratory apparatuses. The incumbent will also participate in audits and special projects, as required. May provide work direction to SRA I's who will assist in accomplishing the above tasks and functions and provide information to interested personnel.

Theoretical and practical knowledge in Cognitive Neuroscience or related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and laboratory work experience.
A minimum of two (2) years experience in a neuroimaging research lab.
Demonstrated experience with EEG data collection apparatus and protocols.
Demonstrated knowledge of statistical analysis of quantitative data.
Proven experience with behavioral data acquisition systems such as Eye Trackers and Motion Capture systems.
Proven knowledge of regulations and procedures relating to documentations and archiving requirements for research participants.
Strong understanding of and demonstrated ability to follow IRB protocols.
Excellent written skills and knowledge of the English language. Strong skill to communicate clearly and effectively in person and in writing.
