After successfully completing on-boarding and orientation process for MyChart, eligible candidates hired into this position will be able to work remotely up to 3 days a week.

The Lead MyChart Analyst will lead an innovative team dedicated to establishing a new foundation for advancing clinical delivery and quality outcomes. Will provide support in the optimization of our patient portal, MyChart, and our IPCS, MyChart Bedside. Will have in-depth knowledge of the Epic Mychart application, as well as medical center operations and workflows, providing continued and timely work on our Telehealth initiatives (Video Visits), Direct Scheduling, Open Scheduling, Wait Listing, Patient messaging, MyChart Bedside integration and more.
The Lead MyChart Analyst will be responsible for optimization and break/fixes associated with the Epic MyChart application. The Analyst will work closely with the team's senior application analysts and clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality. Incumbent will perform testing and detailed quality assurance within the MyChart application, prior to release of new functionality to end-users.
The Lead MyChart Analyst will participate in reviewing vendor software releases and updates to determine features desired and then implement them within UC San Diego Health system(s). Will also participate in training end-users. Will provide 7/24 problem management support and resolution for MyChart Telehealth. The Analyst will work closely with the Web Services team, in support of the MyChart web application.
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or related area; and/or equivalent combination of experience training.
A minimum of five (5+) or more years of relevant experience in healthcare IT.
Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.
- Experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation.
- MyChart Bedside.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
