The Division of Geriatrics is actively recruiting for a full-time geriatrics-trained physician to practice in the San Diego, CA area. We seek an individual who is willing to work in a wide range of clinical programs in our growing geriatrics program. We provide clinical care in outpatient, inpatient and skilled nursing facility settings. Although position will cover various clinical settings as needed, it is primarily outpatient clinical geriatrics with the expectation of a full panel.
California medicine license/ eligibility and board certification/ eligibility in geriatrics required. Ideal candidate should have at least five years of prior geriatric outpatient experience in a variety of clinical care settings; clinical teaching; scholarship and institutional/ committee service are preferred. Minimum basic qualification: must be board certified/ board eligible in geriatrics training. The Department is seeking candidates who have demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and service towards building an equitable and diverse scholarly environment.
