The Health Sciences HR Coordinator provides daily administrative and transactional support to HR Generalists and HR Service Core clients. Assists HR Generalists with coordination of HR functions and activities. Performs a variety of functions and processes related to the on-boarding and off-boarding of staff and students. Performs payroll entries and timekeeping.
The HR Coordinator (HRC) must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a rapidly changing, time-pressured environment. This requires the HRC to use discretion and have an understanding of sensitive issues, exercise sound judgment with guidance from management, have strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and the ability to be flexible as demands and priorities change. The HRC will prioritize work accordingly to accomplish tasks and projects in a timely manner. The HRC also maintains sensitive and confidential information in electronic and paper form, maintains confidentiality and practices discretion, and must have a willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
