Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screens functions and establishes treatment for a variety of diagnoses in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist.

  • Provides occupational therapy treatments following therapy procedures, protocols and programs.

  • Completes required documentation and communicates patient information across the continuum of care and assists with inventory control, clinic maintenance and organization.

Qualifications:

  • Current COTA and CPR/BLS certifications.

  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform all the various modalities in occupational therapy.

  • Knowledge in monitory inventory, ordering supplies and maintaining a safe and organized work place.

  • Must be able to determine expected outcomes and to develop and prioritize appropriate therapy intervention.

  • Must be willing to embrace and exhibit the organizations Core Values of Caring, Creativity, Quality, Integrity, and Team Work.
